Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 Download

Just installed Visual Studio 6 Professional as part of any image and Service Pack 2 (those were the CD's issued). Just been on the Microsoft site and am unsure as to what Service Pack level I need to download and install.Can I go straight for Visual Studio 6.0 Service Pack 5 the version for Visual Basic OR what? The dates of the files issued on the Microsoft site are confusing. NEM1S1SIf you have Visual Studio and not just Visual Basic you would want to install Service Pack 5 full. You do not need to install any of the other setvice packs because each service pack release contains the previous service pack updates. Service Pack 5 updates files so that you can work with Windows and Office 2000 and XP applications.I hope that you have a high speed connection because the Service Pack 5 is like 130+ Meg and on a dial up that will take a real long time.Hope this helps.John K.
